I have a thing with velvet right now and it’s called an obsession. Last week I introduced you to my first velvet look. Click here is you missed it. Today I am talking about my velvet love all over again with a lace and velvet outfit.
One of the things that makes velvet so elegant is that it is timeless. Velvet has made a comeback recently. It is one of those fashion trends that you always have in the back of your mind. I am so glad it is popular right now. Velvet reaches different age groups in different ways. When I was a little girl, I had my fair share of velvet dresses especially around the holidays. Now, I love velvet pieces like a velvet blazer or velvet boots that fit my lifestyle as a young working professional. Velvet is classic for mommas and grandmas with velvet jackets and skirts. So today’s black velvet pants are for any lady!
These black velvet pants are beyond comfortable and stylish with the wide pant leg feature to them. You can get the size you need. The black velvet pants from Lauren Conrad Collection comes in regular, short, and tall. They are almost sold out so you gotta grab it. I have found that Lauren Conrad’s collection runs slightly bigger on me. I got a size 0. In many other brands, I would never be able to get a 0 over my knees lol. Check the size guide but think about sizing down.
Next, I added a beautiful burgundy lace halter top. You can wear the lace top by itself or pair it with a blazer for work with the black velvet pants. The size I got was an XS. For accessories, I kept it simple with black patent leather pumps and a blush crossbody for extra elegance. Hope you enjoyed this post on a lace and velvet outfit. I have more exciting posts this week and I am traveling somewhere… Stay tuned!
Love, Naomi Noel
