Happy Tuesday! Did you catch my announcement yesterday? If not, check out yesterday’s post about my plans for my blog post this week. Today’s Tuesday Treat is talking about lace and ruffles.
Lace and ruffles is something we think about maybe with young girls. But lace and ruffles can actually be not only feminine, but also very sophisticated when styled a certain way. The lace and ruffles in this outfit today is one example.
First, the light pink lace top is also a turtleneck style which is perfect for cooler temperatures. It is not spring yet but going into February it is a perfect time to also transition your wardrobe in the spring. Pink has been the rage especially light pink and blush pink. I have worn those colors 1 million times in the past couple of weeks. The lace top it’s not itchy at all which is also a plus. Also the lace top is perfect to pair with either the skirt featured or dress pants for work or church.
The rose asymmetrical skirt with ruffles is gorgeous. I love how feminine I feel in the skirt. The skirt is not only a beautiful color but it feels great on. It is a little bit more form fitting as you can tell on the booty lol. I have the booty so I guess it shows out more haha but it is not clingy. Finally, I paired it with simple accessories with the champagne colored clutch and fun rings.
This outfit can be worn just like this for a date night or it can be dressed down a little bit for work. I actually do wear dresses and skirts quite often at work so does some of my coworkers. I would wear this outfit at work but maybe trade out the pumps for wedges and ditch the clutch and rings LOL. But the outfit it is also very work appropriate.
