Flagging a cab pose

One of the things I have enjoy about taking pictures for my blog, is that I am discovering all these cool places in my own city. I was born and raised in Houston but I didn’t really pay attention to some places that I have driven right by before. But looking and seeing are two different things. If you are a psychology nerd like me, you know all about the science behind that lol. But anyways, it has been fun learning about new places in my hometown.

Today’s outfit is stellar street style. My outfit is sleek and simple with black and white. It’s a great outfit for work or going out downtown. I kept it simple so that I could go bright with my accessories. I love lime green, yellow and gold all together. It works with a black and white outfit. The asymmetrical skirt is also a fun way to add some flare. It is super flattering for any woman. I love the heels too because let’s be honest, they are the center piece to this outfit. They are on sale too! whooo! When you have a good pair of heels, you feel like you can conquer the world. Hope you enjoyed this! Have you discovered new places where you live too through blogging and taking pictures for your blog???

  1. I love the black and white colors because you can add a fun pop of color to brighten up the outfit! Those shoes are fab too!

  2. Lovely outfit. It’s modern chic with a pop of personality. I want to take more style photos outside for my blog too. Hopefully, once the weather gets better, I can do some exploring too.

  3. OMG I love this look, especially the skirt! I’m like you but with my hometown of Pittsburgh!! Growing up somewhere is different than coming in and exploring!

    1. Thank you! It really is different when you are purposely going to places for photos! It’s like oh I didn’t know that was here lol. That’s so cool. My mom is from Philadephia 🙂
